About Dr Anthony Noor

BDSc (Hons) MBBS FRACS (OHNS)

Dr Anthony Noor is an Australian-trained Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist practising in Sydney. He treats children and adults for all general ENT conditions, with subspecialty expertise in head and neck cancer and thyroid disorders.

Dr Noor initially trained as a dentist, graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide and subsequently trained in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery being awarded fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He then undertook a fellowship at the world leading Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, specialising in head and neck cancer treatment.

 

He has published his research in international journals and presented at various conferences across Australia and internationally. He is also passionate about teaching and is actively involved in the training of future surgeons with his work at St George Hospital. 


Dr Noor is a father to a young family and enjoys travelling, sports and grilling in his spare time.
